1995 Decipher – Star Trek – The Next Generation – Customizable Card Game
This trading card game, which launched in 1994, enjoyed a 13-year run. Initially beloved by many, its popularity waned over time due to increasing complexity and the introduction of additional rules with new sets. As a result, it became challenging to play and eventually fell out of favor with fans, ultimately leading to its discontinuation.
Lets Open another 90’s pack of cards. Today’s pack is 1994 SkyBox Lion King. a classic Disney production that was a blockbuster in my childhood days. Everything was Lion King for a long time after the movie release. These cards were part of the marketing push to create buzz and excitement to further the films longevity.
1991 Topps – Beverly Hills 90210
Another 90’s pack to open! Watch the trading cards from the hit TV series, loved by every teenager, Beverly Hills 90210. The cards never caught on but the stickers were a much desired item. Lets relive 1991 for one minute and see what we get in the pack.
1989 Topps – Batman (Series 2)
Lets open a pack of cards thats been sitting around for 35 years! Its a blast from the past and theres a lot of mixed feelings with this pack. Its a love hate between Series 1 & Series 2. Let me know what you think!
1992 Harley-Davidson – Series 2
We open an old unloved pack featuring bikes from 1903-1992. You can find cases online for at dirt cheap prices. Obviously they never caught on with collectors but i think they are a great set of cards.
Heavy Metal Adult Fantasy was published between 1977-2023. These are an odd set of cards that depict magazine covers over the years.
1991 Portfolio’s Secret Resort
Portfolio’s Secret Resort released this set in 1991. I would have assumed this would have been an advertising card set to highlight their resort property. But it certainly doesnt do that. This card set is women in bathing suits, absolutly nothing about the resort property. Very surprised with this card set.
